It's a funny thing clearing out. I think it might be the same no matter how big a clearout you have. Sock Drawer, Fridge, or like us, a loft full of the unknown.
There's the first phase...this is the part where you just look at it. Us blokes describe this as "Weighing it Up", but the reality is its the same for all of us..."Holy shit, where do we start?!". This is the easiest bit however...you just pick up the first thing you want to clear out & the rest kind of just follows.
Second phase is The Graft. You just get stuck in, dust / socks / mouldy cheese* (*delete as appropriate) goes flying...

Just stumbled upon this prose from Steve Jobs on the long-running debate about Flash on the iPhone etc etc.
Now I've long been a fan of Adobe...Photoshop plays nicely alongside Aperture on my machine...but I thought the whole Flash thing was a bit silly to tell you the truth. It was a little bit like best friends falling out in the school yard.
But after reading through this, I have been totally won over by Mr Jobs' mesmeric deconstruction of Adobe's arguments for Flash world domination.
Another notch for Team Mac I think....http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/

Another great show by the All Types gang. Sun was hot, beer was cold, company was great...say no more.
Posted just a handful of pics up here (sorry...link is all broken!)...All Types is always a chillout weekend for us, so no stories or 100's of pics to trawl through (sorry)
All 'dubbed out, so bedtime!

It's been a beautiful day for riding. Sun out, not a cloud in the sky, yet still cool enough to keep you from boiling over.
There are many questions in my head & I guess I'll never get around to answering them all, but the prominent one for today is about people's appetite for destruction - in particular why, oh why would anyone want to try & block the downhill trails on our local mountain.
Who tried to block the runs did go through my head - kids, walkers (with or without dog), horse riders - but in reality that's kind of irrelevant. The point is that, whether for some childish prank...
